The Formative Analysis explores the capacity, priorities, and needs of the Resolution Health Support Program (RHSP) workforce that takes into consideration the additional duties and responsibilities related to; Indian Day School, Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, the Sixties Scoop, the COVID-19 pandemic, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation events, and ground penetrating searches.

What Justice Looks Like

Together, FPWC and Thunderbird Partnership Foundation hosted 6 roundtables with 96 First Nations, Métis, Inuit, and non-Indigenous workers to hear about experiences of anti-Indigenous racism within mental health and addictions systems. By engaging with mental wellness workers from coast to coast to coast, valuable insights were gathered and developed a set of recommendations to prevent and respond to racism within these systems.

National Wellness Gathering for Indian Residential School Survivors Report

The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) and First Peoples Wellness Circle (FPWC) hosted the National Wellness Gathering for Indian Residential School (IRS) Survivors and IRS Resolution Health Support (IRS RHSP) Workforce on February 13-15, 2024, at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre on the unceded territory of xʷməθkʷəyəm (Musqueam), Sḵwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
