Carrier Sekani Family Services (CSFS)

Carrier Sekani Family Services is an Indigenous-led health and social services organization based in north-central British Columbia, serving the member Nations of the Carrier & Sekani Tribal Council. Their holistic wellness model is built upon a “lifecycle approach” that covers services from prenatal care, child and youth development, primary health & mental wellness, addictions treatment, up to elder supports and telehealth for remote communities. Their work explicitly articulates a continuum of care across life-stages and needs: “The Life Cycle provides a foundation for all … programs and services.” Culture and tradition are at the core of their approach (“culture is at the base of everything we do”).
