Indian Residential School (IRS) Resolution Health Support Program (IRS RHSP) Formative Analysis

Following the recovery of mass graves at residential schools across the country, the Resolution Health Support Program (RHSP) working group called for a formative analysis to understand the growing needs of the RHSP workforce.

The formative analysis explores the capacity, needs, and priorities of this workforce that takes into consideration the additional duties and responsibilities related to Indian Day School, Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, the Sixties Scoop, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation events, and ground penetrating searches. There are two components to this analysis: Contribution agreement holder surveys and focus groups with frontline staff (Resolution Health Support Workers and Cultural Support Providers). The goal is to have a representation of voices from coast to coast to coast.
